Stop the Silica Sand Mine near our Public School. Current studies are being conducted to gather information regarding airborne Crystalline Silica Dust and effects to the general public. Until these studies are conclusive we ask that you adamantly recommend to our community leaders you do not support the development of this proposed GC Silica Sand Mine near our school.
Why is this important?
Until research is complete and the safety of our students is ensured the school board should make it their number one priority to protect our children. The potential loss of enrollment and funding will greatly affect the longevity of our local school and is of great concern.
