I request New York City move up their Spring Break to this week due to the Coronavirus emergency.
Why is this important?
This will protect our children, bring relief to an over burdened and stressed-out staff, and help halt the spread of this virus in the largest school system and city in the nation.
The schools will shutdown for over a week in April, anyway; why not do it NOW.
We need to take drastic measures to stop this pandemic.
I think this isn’t a drastic measure but a common-sense measure that can be very effective.
