NYC'S DEP is killing the Lower Esopus
Towns all across Ulster County need to stop the 6 million gallons of turbid water that the NYC DEP will be allowed to release daily! This is already impacting the shores, peoples' properties, tourism, town beaches and the list goes on and on. Sign up to stand up against the lousy agreement in FAD that NYS DEC has allowed. Say NO to turbid water in the Esopus Creek.
Why is this important?
Our communities are the toilet for the turbid water releasing for NYC. We must preserve our rights to clean water too! NYC has plenty of money to use another alternative than the cheapest one which is to use our Esopus Creek for their toilet bowl.
