The Congress, the Senate and 7 US past presidents so far have failed to get a lynching Bill passed, making it a federal crime. "It may be true that the law cannot make a man love me, but it can keep him from lynching me, and I think that's pretty important." - Martin Luther King, Jr.
Why is this important?
On Dec. 3, 2010, Frederick J. Carter was lynched in Greenwood, MS under suspicious circumstances. Though it was quickly ruled a suicide, an independent autopsy shows homicide. I have been working with the family ever since for justice.
