Uninsured patients in my area (Horry/Georgetown counties) account for approximately 20% or more of all patients seen in many physician practices locally. Physicians need some re-imbursement for seeing these patients to stay in business not to mention grow their practices and hire more employees and grow the weak economy. Please participate in the federal Affordable Care Act, so these patients can be eligible for health insurance. This is bipartisan legislation direly needed in our impoverished state.
