The latest voter participation numbers are pathetic. Citizenship should require voting and we should make it easier to vote by moving voting days to a Saturday or multiple days.
Why is this important?
Voting is more important than jury duty and citizens should be required to vote. If you don't want to vote for anyone submit a blank ballot, but it is the minimum obligation of citizenship that should be required.
