It’s time to #OccupyStarbucks and demand change. Let’s have meetups with multicultural, socioeconomically diverse groups of people at our local Starbucks (without making a purchase). We will demand change until Starbucks changes its policies.
Why is this important?
It’s time to #OccupyStarbucks and demand change. At high noon each day, we will shine the light on racial discrimination, racial profiling, unconscious bias, and mass incarceration.
Each day at noon local time, we will have meetups with multicultural, socioeconomically diverse groups of people at our local Starbucks (without making a purchase). We will demand change until Starbucks changes its policies.
CALL TO ACTION
1. Find or host an #OccupyStarbucks huddle at a Starbucks in your local area. #BoycottStarbucks by not making a purchase. Choose to tip the Starbucks employees instead.

OUR DEMANDS
1. We demand that Starbucks immediately terminate employees at the 1801 Spruce Street Philadelphia, PA location who were involved in the racial profiling incident.

2. We demand that Starbucks create a Racial Justice Campaign to address racial justice, mass incarceration, and unconscious bias in the cities that Starbucks serve.
3. We demand that Starbucks cover all legal fees for the targeted black victims and assist with erasing the victims’ arrest record related to the incident. We also demand that the victims be compensated for pain and suffering.
4. We demand that Starbucks corporate create and publish an annual report on their corporate diversity and inclusion statistics.
We will demand that public spaces be safe for everyone. It’s time to serve up a venti order of racial justice.
