We, the scout leaders, scouters, and community members of the state of Ohio ask that the state law makers follow the lead of California in removing tax exemptions and de-funding organizations that discriminate on the basis of gender, race, creed, or sexuality.
The BSA has long been an organization dedicated to teaching boys valuble skills and building their character, and we want the BSA to stay true to those principles by ending their senseless discrimination.
Why is this important?
The Boy Scouts of America currently hold a BAN on homosexuals; they have expelled them from leadership positions and stopped deserving boys from getting their eagle awards.
