This is one of the weapons used in the massacre in Connecticut. We know that the Second Amendment secures the right of citizens to bear arms however the spirit of the law never intended for citizenry to utilize weaponry designed for those in the military and law enforcement.
Why is this important?
It is about banning the sale of certain semi-automatic weapons that were meant for the military and law-enforcement, to civilians. The horror of what happened in Connecticut today reminded me that our Second Amendment rights do not extend to covering the right to murder children.
