On behalf of the citizens of this country, please allow citizens of every age the option of buying Medicare insurance coverage at one fixed low price without regard to prior medical conditions.
Doing so will strengthen Medicare over the long term and reduce costs by increasing the participant pool as well as forcing the private sector to become more price and customer competitive. The option will also allow smaller employers to provide health insurance to their employees at an affordable rate.
Why is this important?
Increase Medicare solvency by offering Medicare coverage to people of all ages at one reasonable fixed price. NOT required participation, but a choice to participate which will remove fear of a so-called Socialist program as well as help spread costs of current expenses over a larger risk pool.
