Ask our Maine legislators to oppose LD 660: An Act to Enhance Self-Defense by Removing Restrictions on the Carrying and Use of Weapons. LD 660 allows for the carrying of a LOADED concealed weapon WITHOUT a permit or license.
Why is this important?
Current law requires a permit to carry a concealed and loaded weapon. This proposal would legalize anybody, including criminals, to carry a loaded and concealed weapon without permission.
