As the President reaches out by petition to supporters of his nomination to the Supreme Court, We, the People must also be allowed to give him and the Senate an opportunity to see the numbers of the electorate who stand in resolute opposition to his current nomination.
Why is this important?
I received an email from the White House asking for signatures for Trump's petition to show support for Neil Gorsuch for the Supreme Court. The White House website has this petition highlighted uppermost on the site. I created a petition there for the opposition view. However, the government site accepts signatures for my petition, but does not count them! This is an example of the authoritarian tactics American citizens are now facing.
