We believe that no student should be required to take the Parcc. It wasn’t made to serve us, the students, as it violates our rights to culturally relevant curriculums, and high-quality education. We commit to searching for better alternatives to the system of standardized tests.
Why is this important?
We, the students of Baltimore, are being denied access to culturally relevant education. The punitive system of standardized testing hinders our ability to learn.
