Our Democracy is both broken and fixable. Presidential candidates are already calling for campaign finance reforms. We need to hear real solutions from our leaders at every level. The first step is making a commitment to hear the voices and votes of our citizens, and rejecting the dollars of fossil fuel giants.
Why is this important?
As a native Oregonian, I am affected by the State of our democracy.
Massive corporations have hijacked our electorate and have built an insidious machine of influence and corruption. Oregon Senate candidates have the ability to voice support for campaign finance reforms, to reject corporate influence, and to take back control of our democracy.
