I am a co-leader of Indivisible Evanston in Evanston, Illinois. We have joined with the leaders of the MARCH FOR OUR LIVES in Chicago this Saturday, March 24, to register people to vote at the March. We will do this under the banner: Register to Vote! Change Gun Laws or Change Lawmakers! Registering to vote will give our young people, who are outraged at the gun violence in our nation, a concrete action to make the change they will be protesting for on March 24. We urge all activists who want to see more young people register to vote to join our efforts, and organize a voter registration drive at your local March this Saturday. Why is this important?
This petition is to raise awareness of this opportunity to register young people to vote on March 24. Increasing voter registration among our youth should increase the chance that we can change the Congress and the state legislatures to Blue!
