Out of state claims for child support

Single parents need financial support from the non-custodial parent and current child support enforcement laws for out-of-state enforcement are not helping. Let's vote to change these laws.

Why is this important?

People that move into Delaware and have children are having a hard time collecting their child support if the non-custodial parent resides out of state. This should not be happening and this needs to change. For many custodial parents, they never receive their child support unless the other parent goes to retire and in many cases the children are grown and the support came much too late while the custodial parent struggled to raise their children alone.
