Marijuana is a relatively safe compared to legal drugs, and the Drug War unfairly targets minorities with intense focus despite that minorities don't use drugs at a greater rate than other groups. There is a growing consensus that agrees that it is a ludicrous mockery of our justice system to convict non-violent marijuana offenders. Leave these people alone, and let them focus on their jobs, paying taxes and supporting and their families, not court dates and jail time. Let our justice system focus on real crime.
