Recently the Walnut Creek School District Superintendent Marie Morgan has given Principal Bowman of Parkmead Elementary School a written warning that she may be transferred/removed from Parkmead at the end of this school year. Parkmead Elementary School has had 3 principals in 6 years. The general consensus of Parkmead Parents is this is not acceptable. We support Principal Bowman and demand she main at Parkmead. The School District Superintendent either needs to provide substantive evidence for a reason to transfer/remove or continue her contract immdiately.
Why is this important?
Principal Bowman has made great strides in making Parkmead better in her short tenure. She has much more to do.
