The Affordable Care Act provides for a large expansion in medical coverage for the working poor, paid entirely by the federal government for the first three years (2014-2017). PA should stop its boycott of the new health care law and take advantage of this expansion. It promotes health and creates jobs!
Why is this important?
Governor Corbett has refused to cooperate with the implementation of the Affordable Care Act. First he decided against PA creating its own insurance exchange and now he is refusing to partner with the federal government to expand Medicaid to the working poor.
