Where as the elected body of Congress and the President will not receive the salary or benefits until a budget is passed and adhered to that seriously addressed the national debt.
Why is this important?
The President has failed to present a budget proposal that has recovered a single vote in four years in office. The Senate has not passed a budget proposal in four years. The nation has racked up over $6 trillion in new debt, borrowing over 40 cents of every dollar the government spends. If there is no budget presented and passed no elected member of Congress nor the President gets paid. They will not receive back pay either.
