People do NOT need assault weapons or 30 round magazines to hunt game so do better background checks, including the gun dealers. CO recently passed 7 gun reforms so legalese is available on their site.
Why is this important?
We need to not only stop free access to non-hunting weapons by mentally ill but make private gun sellers responsible if they do and those weapons are used in crimes, particularly murder. It is the exact same thing as cracking down on drug dealers. And that second amendment crap is just that. NO ONE has ever said anything about taking away guns - except the NRA propaganda and fear mongers.
