The Federal Reserve is a private corporation with no business having control over the money supply of the United States of America. By taking back control over monetary policy, the United States Treasury could act in the interests of We the People with complete transparency instead of serving the secretive banking industry. We would be following the successful example of Iceland which has since returned to prosperity after taking control of their central bank in 2008.
Why is this important?
The control of the United States' money supply should not be in the hands of a private corporation, 100% of whose shareholders are private banks. This is a conflict of interest on the part of the banks.
