We want to raise awareness about the need to shut down the "gun show loophole," ban military-style assault weapons for civilian use, ban high-capacity bullet magazines, and ensure better background checks for people buying guns.
Why is this important?
According to PolitiFact.com, more Americans have died in gun-related deaths than in all U.S. wars since the Revolutionary War. The U.S. has the highest gun-related death rate of all developed countries! We must end this public health travesty.
