Why are we allowing restaurants and even some self serve establishments to pay wages of $3.50 an hour? The hard working men and women that we rely on to serve us like slaves are also expected to keep a smile on their face and put up with sometimes abusive behavior to ensure a decent tip (that they are also paying tax on) to suplement their rediculous salary... As a veteran food server for over 15 years I can understsnd the hardship of trying to raise children on less than poverty income... Forty years latet and these hard working public servants are worse off today!!! We continue to allow these employers to work their employees part time with no health benefits and expect the rest of us to suppliment their income ???? ENOUGH IS ENOUGH !!!!
