PAY IT BACK

The Federal Government must PAY BACK IN FULL all of the monies it borrowed from the Social Security Trust Fund and used for other purposes. Until these monies are restored, Social Security benefits cannot be reduced or altered in any manner.

Why is this important?

The surplus monies that workers and employers paid into the Social Security Trust Fund was borrowed and used by the government for other purposes. Now they want to revise and reduce Social Security benefits that we, the taxpayers, have already paid for. Before there are any plans to revamp the future of Social Security or modify benefits, the Federal government must first PAY BACK all of the surplus monies it borrowed from the Social Security Trust Fund.
