Starting immediately and until a full federal budget is passed into law, neither any member of the US Congress, nor the President, should receive any pay or other type of remuneration. Moreover, there should be no back pay at a later date to make up for such losses.
Why is this important?
The looming sequester is the result of a dysfunctional government. While it will wreak havoc on many of our lives, those in a position to provide a budget lose nothing. I want to change that.
