Pension Plans First

Make companies pay their pension obligations when declaring bankruptcy. Workers should not suffer for poor management decisions.

Why is this important?

I have met people who have lost their pensions due to bankruptcy. They no longer have that pension to count on when they retire. When a company goes into bankruptcy, the company should have to pay their pension obligations off first. Workers should not suffer during a bankruptcy when executives get big bonus' and full pay.
