Permanently Protect Browns Canyon

Provide permanent protection to Browns Canyon through a National Monument and/or Wilderness designation.

Why is this important?

The Browns Canyon area is comprised of roughly 23,000 acres of Forest Service and BLM land and is renowned for offering a range of year-round opportunities for experiencing Colorado’s
outdoors such as hiking, hunting, fishing, whitewater boating, wildlife viewing or simply enjoying
the spectacular scenery.

Browns Canyon is a national treasure which deserves to be permanently protected to both ensure that the area will remain open to outdoor recreational pursuits and to preserve
Colorado’s outdoor legacy for future generations. Our great state of Colorado benefits greatly from tourists that come to this area to visit unique places like Browns Canyon.
