Why is this important?
Okay so here is the Deal!
The Stats are written above and are available on CHSP website.
It's time that the Residents of Coastal Sussex County get involved in assuring that there is always access to the Beaches, trails, fishing piers and all other amenities at Cape Henlopen State Park.
Its time we start talking with our Representatives, Senators, Governor and The Vice President (His Name is immortalized within the Park.
What are we asking them?
WHO IN THE WORLD SAID "CLOSE THE PARK"?
We are asking them "why in the world" would this massive park with miles of trails, miles of Ocean & Bay Front Beaches and Acres of Open Space, EVER BE CLOSED.
Then we are asking them what they intend to do to provide the Funding to ensure that this is the last year that this happens.
This park should never be closed, if they need more staff, then let's figure a way to get them there, if they need more parking, then lets find a way to create temporary overflow parking.
Let's face it folks if you are going to "The Beach" is another 1/4 mile of walking going to stop you.
