Why is this important?
Congress and the Presidency [the federal government] have not broken up illegal monopolies like Goldman, Sachs & Co and the oil companies that make up Big Oil who deal in "necessaries of life" such as gasoline and oil for heat now at very high prices that stop ordinary Americans' enjoyment of their liberty and pursuit of their happiness [less money available for travel and vacations].
This failure to break-up has been destructive of our unalienable rights: life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness that triggers the People's right to alter or abolish the federal government set forth in the Declaration of Independence.
Term limits for members of congress is a good first step to alter our federal government to stop improper influence by illegal monopolies over the members who favor special interests over ordinary Americans.
