Many people like myself find it obnoxious that they have to look at the front pages of tabloids like the National Enquirer while waiting in the checkout line. The tabloids spread lies and propaganda and some have the same racketeering and extortion practices of criminal enterprises. Many responsible drug/grocery stores have stopped selling (or selling openly) harmful products like tobacco, it is time to stop selling these tabloids that are poisoning minds and destroying our democracy.
Why is this important?
I am fed up with having to stand at check out lines where these tabloids are staring me in the face.
