To: President Donald Trump, The United States House of Representatives, and The United States Senate
Petition that the World treat the Tibet-China issue with greater urgency.
The government of China has been persistent in propaganda and measures to dissolve the culture and religion of the peoples of Tibetan heritage living in lands now declared to be China. For over 50 years the Chinese communists have claimed that Tibet has always been part of China and that therefore they have a right to do whatever they want. This included a genocide of people (a million, one fifth of the Tibetan population) and of culture and of religion. The Chinese are moved into the Tibetan region to exploit its resources at the benefit of only the Chinese. The culture and religion is also exploited as if it were a Disneyland theme park to cater to tourists, again of no benefit to the Tibetans. The Tibetan religion is strictly monitored.
It is a shame that the US and other supposedly morally decent Western countries allow this to continue, and it shows the moral weakness of such countries when they bow down to China. China is an economic power and has lent much money to the practically bankrupt government and corporations of the US and other countries. The corporations such as Apple are the few that benefit from this situation. But China and those who benefit from this situation (including global corporations) are morally bankrupt if they continue to cater to the demands of China. The US strives to be the moral and democratic example for the rest of the world. The US is an example of the practice of separation of church and state and tolerance and protection for all religions, but China has become the state that suspresses religions. China was once an important preserver of Buddhism, but today has become a destroyer of Buddhism, in particular Tibetan Buddhism.
Now that the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan are widing down, what can the US military put its talents and manpower to? Well, a crusade to liberate Tibet from the hands of China would be the most honrable endeavor. The US was moved to liberate Kuwait from Iraq, and to liberate Iraq from Sadam Husein, and to liberate Afghanistan from the Taliban. Now is the time to liberate Tibet from the Chinese, and bring back Tibetan Buddhism to the Tibetan peoples. It would be the kindest thing to do for the Chinese. An intervention that would save China from detroying the natural resources of Tibet Plateau which is the source of many rivers all over Asia. This military move need not be carried out by the US alone, but it should be a coordinated effort with the participation of all nations who are concerned about moral and human rights. The US is guilty of the Holocaust that happened with its native Americans, now it has the opportunity to learn from its moral mistakes by saving from the same fate the peoples of the Tibetan Plateau and of its culture and religion.
Tibetan Buddhism has spread to Western nations through the efforts of Tibetan Lamas and Western Buddhists, so these people are most concerned with the fate of the Tibetan plateau, as much as Christians are concerned and fixated with the Holy Land. His Holiness the Dalai Lama was both the spiritual leader, father, and government head of the Tibetan people, but he has retired from governing duties and has handed it down to a democratic form for the Tibetan government in exile, and this government could be put in place when Tibet is liberated from China with the Dalai Lama's blessings and the Tibetan peoples approval.
Let us pray for the survival and renaissance of the Tibetan culture, its religion and peoples in the Tibetan lands free from Chinese rule.
This petition not only relates to foreign policy but to corporate power and accountability, and I selected Corporate Power and Accountability over foreign policy because I want to put the responsibility on the corporations that benefit from China's economy while ignoring China's human rights violations and China's enslavement of Tibet and destruction of its culture, language, and religion.
If we are going to continue to allow cheap goods from China we should demand that the Chinese treat its people correctly. If they are going to assume responsibility for the Tibetan peoples and their lands, then they should treat Tibetans as its citizens, and even better than its Han peoples. We must demand that Chinese should treat Tibetans as honorary guests, and not as dogs.
Western journalists should be allowed in Tibet to make sure Tibetans are treated with most respect. If China continues with its unfavorable polciies towards Tibetans then we should pressure China with embargos and strikes, and stop buying Chinese goods. It would only favor our economy if we did so for a period of time.
Thank you for reading.

Why is this important?
Now is the time for the US to pressure China into treating Tibet more decently, and to move towards its liberation and that its lands be given back to Tibetans. Pressure China to move in this direction, otherwise prescribe economic embargos, and lastly military force, etc.
