2014/2015: Cedar Ridge Trails (CRT) was working with the Mark Twain National Forest (MTNF) to designate Elk Road Trails. In late fall 2015 MTNF lost funding to designate trails. ""In 2017 MTNF sent CEDAR RIDGE TRAILS a letter that the MTNF did not believe a new trail system was in the public's interest.""
This petition is to inform the MTNF that it is in the interest of the public to designate the Elk Road trails. Thank you for support in our effort to get the Elk Road Trails designated.
Why is this important?
1. If we the trail riders don't let the people or organizations' know how WE the tax payers/horse people feel about shutting the trails, where we spend doing what we love, riding, enjoying nature and the outdoors here in Missouri. WHAT'S NEXT!!!
2. Think of the money that equine people spend in community's supporting small business, Including CEDAR RIDGE TRAILS. This situation is not just going to effect the trail riders but all involved.
3. I would like the people that feel as strongly as I do let MARK TWAIN NATIONAL FORREST and anyone else that is helping with closing the equine trails know how many are against them . PLEASE sign the petition and send it on to anyone you think feels the same way.
