Many children and adults struggle with Auditory Processing Disorder. Many are misdiagnosed and school systems do not recognize this alone as a disability Educators, etc are clueless to what this even means or care to know in many school districts, including mine here in NJ. My daughter is 12 and firsthand is struggling with this. I feel more education will be out there and available especially for teachers but also parents if this is passed as a Disability. Please sign to help me get the awareness out there - at least this is start.
Why is this important?
I'm personally affected by this as my daughter has been struggling and I do not know where to start to get some awareness out there and educate our teachers and staff of our schools on Auditory Processing Disorder.
