Petition to keep the Belleville West Senior Homecoming Theme and T-Shirt Design

T-Shirt Design
We, the seniors of Belleville West, respectfully ask the administration to allow our class to keep our chosen homecoming theme and T-shirt design.

The senior t-shirt and theme are traditions we have looked forward to for years. They represent unity, school pride, and memories we will carry beyond graduation. Taking this away would mean losing an important part of our senior year experience.

We understand there may be concerns, but we believe the solution should be collaboration, not cancellation. If adjustments need to be made, we are open to working with administration to ensure the design and theme reflect the values of Belleville West while still honoring student voices.

We ask that our voices be heard and that this tradition be preserved for our class and future seniors.

Sincerely,
The Students of Belleville West

Why is this important?

It’s about tradition. The senior theme and t-shirt are milestones at Belleville West. Losing them means losing a piece of school history.

It’s about student voice. This is one of the few times seniors get to create something of their own. Supporting this campaign means supporting student choice and involvement.

It’s about unity. The theme and shirts aren’t just for fun—they bring the class together and give us a shared identity in our last year.

It’s about fairness. Seniors have been looking forward to this for years. Changing or removing it now sets a precedent that future classes could lose their traditions too.

It’s about compromise. We aren’t asking to ignore concerns—we’re asking for the chance to collaborate with administration instead of having our voices silenced.
