Legalize, regulate, and tax recreational cannabis for adults in New Jersey.
Why is this important?
Why is it even a question that cannabis should be legalized for recreational as well as medical use for adults?
New Jersey has the highest property taxes in America!
With the millions or billions of tax dollars the sale of legal cannabis would provide, it would help us immensely!!
In addition, if all cannabis is legalized and regulated, it will be much safer because we will know where it came from, and what is in it !!
I am also advocating strict penalties for allowing minors to gain access to it. This is what they are already doing in Colorado and the other states.
Additionally, and most importantly, none of the states that have fully legalized cannabis are back peddling. With nine states participating already, that speaks volumes. Let's bring New Jersey out of the Dark Ages and into the 21st Century!
