Philippines immigrants deserve parity with illegal Latinoes
The Philippines have historically been the USA's strongest ally in Southeast Asia. Philippinoes have fought and died along side US servicemen in the Spanish American War, WW II, Korea, and Vietnam. The Philippines have been a US territory and today are a significant trading partner and cultural partner. The Philippines have never been a source of illegal activity in the US, drugs, murder, kidnapping or crime syndicates. The official language of business, science and government in the Philippines is English. English education is required in Philippine Schools.
Philippine Americans represent a significant portion of the South Eastern Asia population of the USA. Most American Cities have large Philippine American communities. These hard working productive English speaking people assimilate into American society and culture. They build businesses, contribute productivity to US business and industry. Phillipinoes have the lowest incarceration rate of any minority group in the US.
These allies and friends of the USA deserve immigration equality with Latinos or any other immigrates, legal or illegal.

Why is this important?
Thousands of Philippine American families are forced to wait over 20 years to reunite siblings. Uncles and Aunts are often never given the opportunity of consideration for immigration to join families in the US.
It is unfair and inhumane to give Latinos that entered in the US illegally to become legal immigrants cutting in line ahead of Philippine immigrants that have followed the rules. The average wait for my brother to be considered for US immigration is 23 years, why should ALL illegal Latinos be allowed to jump ahead in 13 years?
