I would like for the government sponsored rebates regarding clean photovoltaic energy which are set to expire to either be renewed, or changed in nature. For example, instead of a rebate - the government could directly sponsor solar manufacturers and installers to keep the installed cost to a user down to something like 2-3$ per panel specified watt.
Why is this important?
