Legal and governmental documents need to be written in plain English that is understandable by everyone instead of the convoluted, obscure text currently employed.
Why is this important?
Ordinary people should be able to read and comprehend all legal and governmental documents. These documents have, over the years, evolved into an abstruse foreign language which generates reams of paperwork and requires the services of an expensive translator ( a lawyer, for example). I would like to see some plain English.
