Proposed laws and amendments should be written in plain, simple sentences that cannot possibly be misinterpreted.
Why is this important?
Amendments and proposed laws are often written using obtuse wording that can be construed in several different ways. In physics, the laws of thermodynamics are set out in plain, simple language. If elected officials can't present state laws and amendments simply, then they should not be in a position to write state laws and amendments.
