Please don't gut Maui's workforce housing ordinance! We need it!

Maui's working families need a place to live and this ordinance is one of the only policies that is on our side! PLEASE do not reduce the length of affordability required for workforce homes and apartments,
or let Wailuku get redeveloped without any provision for housing for working families, and for goodness sake do not reduce the number of workforce houses that developers have to build alongside their luxury developments.

Why is this important?

I am a hard-working grandmother. I have a good job, I work hard, I raised children and grandchildren here on Maui, I try hard to save, I pray and I play by the rules. But for me and almost every family I know we cannot afford a house or a condo. We are all being priced out of our island, and in another generation many of our local families will be gone. Protecting our workforce housing ordinance is the least we can do to try and keep Maui, Maui.
