Please prohibit the use of hand-held phones while driving

Please place into NC law, legislation that would prohibit driving while using hand-held cell phones and similar electronic communications devices. Thank You

Why is this important?

Too many people are irresponsibly talking on their cell phones while driving in NC. In turn, they are not using their turn signal and not driving with both hands on the wheel, which are causing a lot of auto accidents. Other states have adopted a hands-free law which allows the driver to still talk on the phone, while using an inexpensive, easily available headset or hands-free blue tooth device.
