The Pledge of Allegiance should be LEGALLY removed from schools! Children have NO idea what those words mean... let alone being BRAINWASHED to recite them. REMOVE THE PLEDGE! PLEDGE NO MORE!
Why is this important?
This petition is to keep young minds as pure as when birthed, without brainwashing them with repetitious recitals of a pledge they know NOTHING about! The Pledge of Allegiance should be LEGALLY REMOVED from ALL "PUBLIC" schools! Though parents can prohibit their child(ren) from participating in reciting the Pledge, and schools DON'T have to partake in a reciting of the Pledge, that's NOT enough! Like the Ten Commandments were removed from courthouses to NOT mix church with state, the Pledge should too be removed from schools, because CHILDREN HAVE NO IDEA AS TO WHAT THEY'RE PLEDGING TO, LET ALONE WHAT THEY'RE EVEN SAYING. - Selph Unohwn, Community Activist
