Stop Speaker Mattiello and his oversized ego. We must not allow an NRA and Right to Life endorsed Speaker of the Rhode Island House to harm our state so critically with this budget impasse.
Why is this important?
The idea that our schools will lose critical funding because of one man's oversized ego, who wasn't even elected by a majority of Rhode Islanders, is really too much for me to take! It should also be too much for any other rational and caring person to take! Our children deserve better than to be used as pawns in Speaker Mattiello's dangerous and irresponsible decision to prevent passage of the state budget.
