Radio and television advertising for any political candidate or initiative will be prohibited for the 7 days immediately prior to any election. No television advertisement with a candidates likeness, voice or name, either verbally or in text, will be allowed; and no radio advertisement with a candidates voice or name. This restriction will also apply to the candidates spouse and immediate family, grand-parents, and grand-children.
Why is this important?
Advertising has become so invasive and negative that it is turning off voters. There should be a blackout on political campaign advertising 7 days prior to any election.
