Politician Responsibility: Fines for Lies

Politicians making public statements may only cite accurate facts and will be fined $100,000 per fabrication.

Why is this important?

Any politician caught making a false public statement as fact will be fined $100,000. Politicians should be fined for publicly presenting fabricated information as fact, and, as adults, are expected to preface such statements they haven't verified with a disclaimer.
