Raise the poverty level to adjust it to our times. Not years ago. People in the United States of Amnerica need our help! So many have lost jobs through no fault of their own.
Why is this important?
The poverty level according to the government has stayed the same. Yet, prices keep going up in groceries, gas, health insurance, medicine, etc.... It is time to raise the poverty level so more people will not have to go hungry, not without clothes, medical help etc.... Who can possibly make it on minimum wage and pay a sitter? These people are also losing their homes and as Americans we need to fight for them and their children. What if it was you?
