PPG: Stop selling lead paint in the 3rd world!

It has long been known that lead in paint is a great danger to the minds of developing children. The US restricted its use years ago.

We are appalled that PPG not only sells leaded paint in third world markets (such as Cameroon), but will not consider stopping unless the target nation actually restricts lead in paint!

Do the right thing PPG: follow the strictest standards for lead in household paint for all of your products sold everywhere!

Why is this important?

PPG Industries has been selling house paint high in lead content in the African nation of Cameroon for years, and although it says it stopped production of that paint late last year, it has rejected a request that it recall or accurately label its lead paints now selling in stores there.
