I pledge to knit a hat (or scarf, socks, even a sweater), to keep warm those brave people standing up for a better future for all of our children.
Sewing clothes or a quilt or just donating something warm is also welcome.
Why is this important?
Please pledge to knit a hat to help keep folks at Occupy Wall Street warm this winter.
As the mother of a child, I've been preoccupied lately with education, with health care, with housing. I want to provide for my child and I want everyone's kid to have access to these things, but I'm watching as everything gets more and more expensive for 99% of the people living in this country.
In support of the folks standing up for a better future for all of our children we pledge to knit a hat to keep them warm this winter.
