More needs to be done to save preserve areas and habitats in which wildlife inhabit.
I understand Motorola was recently purchased and the teardown of the buildings is necessary. However the destruction of the tall grasses where hundreds of wildlife and wildflowers inhabit were also destroyed and it is devastating to the ecosystem which lived there; hundreds of birds, bees, small animals, etc.
Why is this important?
We cannot continue to destroy habitats to fit the lives of only humans.
We need to devise a plan which considers the entire ecosystem.
At least transplant it around new developments.
Environmental groups need to be involved.
